= Summary =

Herbertstown is a village situated in south east Limerick about 17 miles from Limerick city. Neighbouring towns include Bruff, Hospital and Kilteely. Townlands in the area include Ballinard, Ballinamona, Ruthagh and Cahercorney. Currently there is no DSL broadband connection available in the village.

Services and Amenities

The village hasd two pubs,a post office, a Catholic church, the farmer's co-op and the local community hall. Local clubs include the successful local soccer club Herbertstown AFC and the GAA club Hospital-Herbertstown.

Development of town

A housing estate is currently being built in the town and in the future there may be further expansion of the town depending on the success of the current project.
