Gateway College of Evangelism is a bible college in Florissant, Missouri, near St. Louis. It is affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church International. It is currently not accredited, but offers 2-year and 4-year degrees.
History
In May 1966, a committee was formed by the Missouri District of the UPCI to explore the possibility of founding a bible college. This eventually led to the opening of Gateway College in September 1968, at 3155 Charbonnier Road near Florissant. The first president of the college was W.C. Parkey. In 1971, the college purchased its current campus on 700 Howdershell Road which had been formerly owned by St. Stanislaus Seminary. Academics
Gateway college currently offers an Associate's Degree in Biblical and General Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Ministry with four emphasis options. Starting in Fall 2008, Gateway College began offering online classes through the Consortium of Online Christian Colleges in addition to their on-campus instruction.
