The Cultural Arts Center in Carrollton, Georgia is a 40,000-square-foot (3,700 m2) structure located at 251 Alabama Street in the Square of Carrollton. The art center is owned and operated by the city of Carrollton.
The facility has a 262-seat theatre, 4 classrooms, a chorus rehearsal room, a theatre rehearsal room, a lobby, a theatre, and of course a theatre stage. Each classroom contains roughly around forty chairs and two tables for a classroom setup, thirty to forty chairs with tables in a square for the board room setup, and five sixty inch table with five chairs and 2 six foot tables for the standard setup.
Athletic activities and art hosting
The Center offers a variety of athletic activities and art hosting. The establishment offers many extra curricular activities such as cheerleading practice, plays, youth basketball, youth and adult boxing, spring track, as well as many soccer training camps and sports oriented festivals. The museum of cultural arts hosts amateur artwork from all over, including from students at West Georgia University. Artwork lines the walls of the establishment, some of which can be seen through the large glass windows out front.
