Theodoros Natsinas

Theodoros Natsinas ( _el. Θεόδωρος Νάτσινας) (born 1872) was a Greek Scholar.

Theodoros Natsinas was born in Siatista July 8th 1872, he grew up in Siatista, Greece. He studied Physics and Mathematics at University of Athens where he had his PHD, at 1898 teached in Argos and Spetses.

At 1899 University of Athens proposed him and Greek Government send him to teach at Ceassaria. From 1903 to 1907 teached at Constantinople.

At 1907 served as director of school in Siatista and helped Greece to win the Greek Struggle for Macedonia of Greece where Turks arrested him at 1907 and brought him at Neapoli, where the Greek Bishop of Sisanion and Siatista helped him to be released.

He became the founder of the first Agriculture Partnerships and the Scouts of Western Macedonia - Greece. At 1918 he advanced as Superintendent of Middle Education.

Founding School in Thessaloniki

At 1931 he cofounded and directed at Maraslion of Thessaloniki, the Natsinas - Karantanis School.

He is the author of the book "Macedonian Merchants at Austria and Hungary Countries" (First edition 1939 Thessaloniki - Last edition 1961 from Western Macedonia newspaper of Thessaloniki).

The people of Thessaloniki honored him by the naming of a central street in Thessaloniki after him.
