Ysgol Brynhyfryd is a bilingual co-educational comprehensive school in the town of
Ruthin inDenbighshire ,North Wales . The school serves the community ofRuthin and the many surrounding villages including the rural districts ofCorwen ,Carrog andGwyddelwern . The school currently has 1168 pupils on roll, including 179 in the Sixth Form. Brynhyfryd is a naturally bilingual school which has; in Years 7&8; three Welsh forms: H/Y/C, one Bilingual form: N and four English forms: B/R/F/D. The school is considered as a successful school with 68% of pupils leaving with at least five A*-C GCSE grades due to the last Estyn Inspection Report.
