KHOSO GOTH ( کھوسو گھوٹھہ یا کھوسو ولیج  ) :-

Khoso Goth also known as Khoso Village is a Housing Society located adjacent to Karachi International Airport. Surrounding societies include "TARIQ BIN ZIAD SOCIETY" and "SHAH FAISAL TOWN" (not Shah Faisal Colony) An army military base called as MALIR CANNT is also located at a few minute drive from Khoso Goth.

HISTORY:-

Goth is a Sindhi language word meaning a area inhibited by Sindhis or Sindhi speaking people. Town was established by Sindhi speaking people some about a hundred years ago, before the partition of India. Some about 10 years back Punjabi and other language speaking people bought land from Sindhi landlord (Mitha Khan) and built Houses and started living there and in a few years a major portion of Khoso village was constituted by non Sindhi people Most of these people were Pak Army Air force and Navy retd. personals. At present Khoso Village is composed of two parts one inhibited by Sindhi People and other inhibited by mostly Punjabi people.

FACILITIES:-

Facilities include Schools Mosques, Graveyard, Playground The main streets of the Town are Cemented. A few days back Street lights were also installed by the City Government. Electricity, Gas, Telephone and TV cable connections are easily available. High speed internet Broadband service is also made available a few months back. Initially there was only one Govt. school in the locality but in the recent years two Private schools named as "Iqra Paramount Grammar School" and "Ilma Public school" are also established. All the three schools are up to Metric level. For religious education two maddresses are established named as Iqra Ishat-ul-Quran and Madressa Hadiqa -Tul- Quran. The second one is being run by the Imam of Masjid-e-Abu Bakr.

PROBLEMS:-

The main and most important problem of the locality is that the Town has not been leased due to which town lacks many facilities including sewerage line, water line. The roads are not carpeted. People have to buy water from Water tankers which is highly costly. For drainage purposes people have dug wells which when over flows cause great problems for the people passing by. Town is very big but the town don't have park of its own. Some illiterate people use illegal electricity connections due to which electricity short circuits and electricity breakdowns frequently occurs.

Though people belonging from different races colors and languages live here but there motto is same and that is پاکستان زندہ باد پاکستان پاہندہ باد۔
