- Saber Radar
The Saber Radar, is a project from the
Brazilian Army to develop 100% national technology air defense radars. They are being developed by CTEx (Army Tecnology Center) and OrbiSat, a Brazilian company, with funds from the Ministry of Science and Technology.Started in February 2006, the first prototype was ready a few months later. In 2007, the Saber M60, the first operational radar, was ready. So, since 2007, Brazil is one out of eight countries that can develop radar.
A Brazilian engeneer said that the cost of the Saber M60 project is $20 million Brazilian Reais (about US$ 11 million).

* Saber X60 - The Saber M60 prototype, only 1 built.
* Saber M60 - The first operational Saber series radar. With a range of 75 km, weight of 200 kg, and the ability of tracking up to 40 targets. At least 5 Saber M60 were built.
* Saber M200 - The project of a similar radar with range up to 200 km.Operators
