Diplomatic Deceit

"Diplomatic Deceit" is a Hardy Boys novel.

Madeleine Berot, Callie's pen pal, visits Washington D.C, as her parents are appointed to the French embassy. Maddie is caught shoplifting, and she is taken into custody. The Hardys soon realize a band of con artists are loose in D.C. They must capture the culprit before things get worse.
