Brendan Boyle is the current New Zealand Secretary for Internal Affairs and Chief Executive of the Department of Internal Affairs.

Brendan Boyle became the Chief Executive of the Department of Internal Affairs on 4 February 2008, having been Chief Executive of Land Information New Zealand since August 2003. Boyle was the inaugural Director of the e-Government Unit at the State Services Commission. He holds a law degree from Otago University and an MBA (2000) from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
