Star Records put up auditions in Metro Manila, The Show was called "Star Kids: The Search" and was aired in ABS-CBN. After 2,000 who auditioned, the Semi-Final Contestants were 16 and only 8 were chosen.

Fame

The Group's Top 3 Songs are #1 - "One Step Closer" (S Club 8), #2 - "Let's Groove" (Earth Wind & Fire) and #3 - "Bring It All Back" (S-Club 7). Ryan Cayabyab calls them - "The Shining Stars of Today!" and they have been featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. They regularly perform at ASAP at ABS-CBN

Jaehwa

Paul Xavier Jaehwa Bernardo auditioned at the Cultural Center of the Philippines singing "I Believe" by Fantasia Barrino and passed the Semi-Finals. He studies voice lesson at Henry Martin School of Music in Malabon. He also likes to compose songs.

Justin

Justin Louise Neypes is the Lead Female Singer of the Group, She auditioned at SM Mall of Asia with her version of Camp Rock's "What It Takes", She has been paired with Joshua Angeles (a co-member).

Enrique

Enrique Adolfo San Juan is one of the greatest dancers in the group, he also auditioned at the CCP Theater singing "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston. He loves to sing any song and dance into any music beat.

Ruffa

Aquina Ruffa Olaño auditioned at TriNoma in Quezon City, She says that her musical influences are Rhianna and Celine Dion. She auditioned with "My Heart Will Go On" - the famous theme song of Titanic (1997 film)

Joshua

Joshua Angeles auditioned at the SM Mall of Asia, Same with Justin since they are paired with each other. He sang for his audition - "Pwede Ba" by Soapdish. He loves anime especially Naruto.

Lisenda

Lisenda San Pedro is known as "The Smart Girl Next Door", She didn't audition, She sent a video of her singing to the Judges who helped her pass the Semi-Finals, She sang "True Colors" by Cindy Lauper at her video. Lisenda is Enrique's Bestfriend.

Kriziah

Kriziah Mae Pangisban is Joshua's Cousin who auditioned at CCP with her friends - Enrique and Jaehwa (both co-members). She loves Yeng Constantino and is a certified Kapamilya. Kriziah is also a lead singer of the group, She auditioned at ABS-CBN Studio.

Carl

Carl Angelo Salanga is the funniest member of the group, He loves telling jokes and is a good dancer, He auditioned at ABS-CBN Studio and sang "I'll Always Love You" by Michael Johnson and passed. He is known as the "Mini Version of Billy Crawford" because of his dance moves.
