Anton Franciscus Pieck (
Den Helder, Netherlands ,April 19 ,1895 –Overveen, Netherlands ,November 25 ,1987 ), a Dutch painter, artist and graphic artist. Pieck was the son of Henri Christiaan Pieck and Petronella Neijfs, and the twin brother of the painter and illustrator Henri Christiaan Pieck.
Pieck married Jo van Poelvoorde in 1922 and the two had three children, Elsa, Anneke and Max Max.
Jo van Poelvoorde died in 1983.
Max died in 1986.

Spike and Suzy (Suske en Wiske) the characters visit De Efteling three times, in "De Efteling-elfjes", in "Fata Morgana" and in "De belhamel-bende". In this last comic, Pieck has a cameo role when Ambrose (Lambik) is called by someone who knows where Aunt Sidonia (Tante Sidonia) is.
*Drs. P. (Heinz Hermann Polzer) once wrote a song, "Winterdorp," as a hommage to Pieck's cosy drawing style.
