- Epsilon Pi Alpha
Epsilon Pi Alpha is a fraternity at
Gustavus Adolphus College . Epsilon Pi Alpha, known as the "Eppies," was founded in 1928 by seventeen original members as a literary society. It has had a proactive and prominent role in student activities on the Gustavus Adolphus campus. Epsilon Pi Alpha is represented by the Greek letters of the same name, which stand for Faith, Hope, and Love, respectively. New members are added every year and are selected from eligible Gustavus Adolphus Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Eligibility is defined by the Inter-Greek Senate of Gustavus Adolphus College. Induction includes a two week pledging period in which pledges undergo a series of brotherhood building activities and rigorous knowledge testing of the fraternity's history. Pledging typically attracts ten to twenty men, which gives the Eppies a membership of between thirty and sixty men depending on the size of each pledge class. The Eppies are currently headed by Co-Presidents Chris Edelbrock and Anders Ringdahl-Mayland. Epsilon Pi Alpha was awarded Fraternity the Year award by Gustavus Adolphus College for the 2006-2007 academic year.External links
