History

Formed in Dongola, IL; Artifakt is Alternative Metal band. Artifakt was forged late in the year 2006 when drummer Jeremy Page and vocalist Chris Powles got together with local guitarist Joey Lovell. After going through many bassists and a number of guitarists they have settled as a 5-piece. With Eddie Jimenez on guitar and Stephen Jones on bass, straight from the heart of Southern Illinois and hoping to take their music further. They have currently played live on WTAO Radio Station or better know as "Rock 105 TAO".

Genre

Though there genre is disputed through the Artifakt fan base. They have stated that they are a Alternative Metal band.
