"Gimme The Loot" is the 3rd track from The Notorious BIG's highly successful debut album Ready To Die, released on September 13, 1994. The song depicts what sounds like two people talking about a robbery (hence the title name) but is really rapped by Biggie himself. The song samples "Coldblooded" by James Brown, a vocal sample of "Throw Ya Gunz" by Onyx, a vocal sample of "What They Hittin' Foe?" by Ice Cube, a vocal sample of "Just to Get a Rep" by Gang Starr and "Scenario" (Remix) by A Tribe Called Quest
