Bipes biporus is one of four species of the genus Bipes, the only
amphisbaenia ns to have legs. Bipes means "two-footed", while "wormlizard" captures the fact that amphisbaenians are wormlike reptiles.Breeding
This species is oviparous and the females lay one to four eggs in July, starting when they are four years old. The eggs hatch after two months.
Location
The two-legged worm lizard lives in
Baja California ,Mexico . Like all other amphisbaenians this is a burrowing species. It surfaces at night and after heavy rain.Diet
It is a carnivore and eats ants, termites, ground dwelling
insects , larvae, andearthworms .ize
Length about 17–24 cm, width 6 to 7 mm.
