Seth Goldman (businessman)

Seth Goldman is co-founder, President and TeaEO of Honest Tea, founded in 1998 with his partner and former business school professor, Barry Nalebuff. Before launching Honest Tea, Goldman was Vice President of Calvert Social Investment Fund. Prior to that he was director of an AmeriCorps demonstration project in Baltimore, MD, and served as deputy press secretary for Senator Lloyd Bentsen of Texas. He worked for a year in China (1987-1988) and a year and a half in the former Soviet Union (1989-1990). He graduated from Harvard College in 1987 with a degree in government, and from the Yale School of Management in 1995. Goldman serves on the boards of Bethesda Green, Pennsylvania Certified Organic, Environmental Leadership Program, Happy Baby, and Net Impact. He is also an advisory board member of First Peoples Worldwide. He contributes The Mission-Driven Business blog on Inc.com.Goldman grew up in Massachusetts and lives in Bethesda, MD.
