Vanatec openaccess

Vanatec OpenAccess is an O/R Mapper, originally based on a Java Data Objects (JDO) implementation.

The product was originally brought to market as JDOGenie from Hemisphere (2002), before it got acquired by Versant (2004), a ODBMS vendor and brought to market as Versant OpenAccess.

In 2005, the OpenAccess development and management team has founded Vanatec and brought the product to the market under the brand of Vanatec OpenAccess, creating the "Stop Hacking. Start Mapping." slogan.

Vanatec claims to provide the broadest set of ORM functionality, highest performance and leading commercial vendor, providing professional support as well.

Vanatec OpenAccess has been available for Java and .NET and comes for .NET only since 2008.

It is fully integrated into Microsoft Visual Studio and requires .NET 2, 3.0 or 3.5.Supported Databases are Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Firebird as well as Sybase SQL Anywhere and Advantage Database Server.
