Iron Soldier

Iron Soldier is a first-person mech game developed by Eclipse for the Atari Jaguar System in 1994. The series also included Iron Soldier II releases for the Jaguar and Atari Jaguar CD systems, and Iron Soldier III for the Playstation 2 and Nuon systems.

A rare prototype version of the original, in the ownership of collector Gary DuVall, was released in 2006 under the title "Iron Soldier Beta". Only 50 copies of the title were distributed, created by a community member of Jaguar Sector II with the blessing of both the original developer and the possessor of the prototype. Demand was high, given that the prototype contained significant differences from the released version including several new weapons and defense mechanisms.
