Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) was established in the year 2001 at Narsapur, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh by The Vasista Educational Society pioneered by Technocrats with varied Industrial and Consultancy Experience.

The Institute runs Under Graduate engineering courses approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi (Statutory body of Government of India) and Department of Technical Education (DTE), Hyderabad, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Institute is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

The campus of SCET is located on State Express Highway about 6 km from the centre of Narsapur city. The Institute has fully developed infrastructure facilities with qualified teaching faculty in all branches with industrial exposure.

Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology strides towards excellence by Imparting training and instructions of International standards in an environment conducive for effective teaching and learning processes with a goal to develop the Organization as a trend setter in the academic field and as a centre of excellence with emphasis on knowledge, vision & conduct.
