Pharmacosmos is an international pharmaceutical company with corporate headquarters, manufacturing facility and research laboratories in Holbaek, Denmark.

Founded in Denmark in 1965, Pharmacosmos manufactures and markets pharmaceutical drug products and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). The company has a leading position in manufacturing and supply of high product purity dextran and iron dextran for human and veterinary applications.

Pharmacosmos specializes in research and development of carbohydrate polymers and iron carbohydrate complexes for treatment of iron deficiency anemia.
