Ian McColl, Baron McColl of Dulwich, CBE (born
6 January 1933 ) is a Britishsurgeon ,professor ,politician and Conservative member of theHouse of Lords . McColl was made aLife Peer for his work for disabled people in theQueen's Birthday Honours in1989 . He wasParliamentary Private Secretary toPrime Minister John Major from 1994-97. Since 1997, he has been a Shadow Minister for Health. He is also atrustee and surgeon to the internationalcharity Mercy Ships Citation
