Igor Baranovsky (born July 6, 1989), better known by his stage name AlKane, is an German record producer. With his distinctive yet commercially appealing production style, AlKane has been influential along with such producers as Ash-Tray and The PlatinumG in shaping the sound of modern Hip-Hop and R&B music, working with prominent artists such as Ash-Tray, Big Moh and Russian Bad Boy. AlKane has produced albums and singles for a number of artists from the mid-2004 to the present day.
AlKane's first full credit production work was Ash-Tray...Back to Tre Roots, in 2004; the album was both a commercial and critical success. He was later contacted by Big Moh to help produce his f irst album, Represent, which went on to sell over 200.000 copies worldwide. In 2006, AlKane produced several hit songs including Ash-Tray "Revolution", and contributed two singles to Big Moh's self-titled third album.
In 2006, AlKane collaborated with many Producers which resulted in multiple million selling albums and singles for many several artists. In 2007, AlKane released the album Gonna Get, a commercial success, while 2008 saw AlKane help produce Ash-Tray's new album, Next Level.
Biography
Early Life
Igor Baranovsky was born and raised in Ukraine, Kiev. Originally a disc jockey known as "Ak" Igor began making hip hop beats on a midi keyboards. Rapper Ash-Tray heard his material and, taken by Igor’s unique sense of rhythm, began working with him .
Ash-Tray, Timbaland, and Big Moh signees known as "Platinum crew", joining artists such as R&B singer Russian Bad Boy. AlKane did production work on a number of projects with Russian Bad Boy - That's all for You, which was shelved and never released. He later joined the production in Canada - Russia Boy Records.
