Wheezer is jealous of his baby brother who gets all the attention while he is being ignored and expected to behave. Wheezer even misses breakfast due to oversleeping and is handed a couple stale pancakes. He then attempts to make some more but uses plaster instead of pancake mix which causes him to get spanked. His older sister Mary Ann tells Wheezer that she stopped getting attention when he was born. Wheezer then talks to Farina while the rest of the gang is playing in their Halloween costumes. Farina suggests that Wheezer trades his baby brother to the hospital for a goat. Wheezer attempts to do this using Mary Ann's doll instead. The nurse at the hospital plays along and calls his mother. His mother hides the baby and she and Mary Ann pretend to cry and say that the baby was taken to heaven. Wheezer then says he is sorry and his mother tells him to pray and maybe the baby will come back. Wheezer prays and the baby comes out of hiding and socks Wheezer in teh face.
This episode marks the last for Joe Cobb, Jean Darling, and Harry Spear. Joe Cobb leaves due to age and the others leave because they were unable to make the adjustment to sound films.
