National Wrestling Federation were held during the late-1980s. Shawn "Crusher" Crossen, founder of the National Wrestling Federation, made his professional debut in the promotion in 1990. Although becoming the first ever PWA Middleweight Champion, a falling out between Crossen and Sharkey caused Crossen to leave the promotion and retire with the title. [Crossen, Shawn.
