Udayaravichandrika (sanskrit उदयरविचन्द्रिका, tamil உதயரவிச்சந்த்ரிகா) is a
rāga m (musical scale) inCarnatic music (South Indian classical music). It is an audava rāgam (or owdava rāgam, meaning pentatonic scale ), and is also known as Shuddha Dhanyasi (pronounced "Shuddha Dhanyāsi", sanskrit शुद्ध दन्यासि, tamil சுத்த தன்யாஸி) . Udayaravichandrika is a symmetric rāgam that does not contain "Rishabham" or "Dhaivatam".
