Mazyar Keshvari (born March 5, 1981) is an Iranian-Norwegian politician of the Progress Party of Norway.

Keshvari, who was born in Iran, and his family emigrated to Norway in 1986.[1] He has made his mark in the Norwegian public sphere as a staunch opponent of the Iranian theocracy.[2] He also supports gay rights and defends the printing of the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons.[3] Skeptical toward non-Western immigration into Norway, Keshvari has stated that immigrants who do not comply with "Norwegian values" should "beat it".[4]

Keshvari was graduated from the BI Norwegian Business School with a bachelor's degree.[5] He joined the Youth of the Progress Party in 2001 and chaired its Oslo chapter from 2004 to 2006; he is still a member of its central committee. In 2007, he was elected to Oslo city council.[6]

Since 2005, Keshvari has been serving as a deputy representative from Oslo to the Norwegian parliament. He was re-elected to a second four-year term running to 2013. [7]
