Kheti Virasat Mission

Kheti Virasat Mission(KVM):Established in March 2005, KVM is a non-profit, civil society action group. KVM is registered as a trust, with head office at Jaitu, Faridkot, Punjab.

KVM works in the field of sustainable agriculture, conservation of natural resources, environmental health and eco-sustainable technologies.

At KVM, we undertake a myriad of initiatives related directly or indirectly to agriculture and civil society:- policy debates- issues of WTO and globalization- activities of environmental education- awareness and advocacy- youth activities for environment and sustainable development

Apart from the above, KVM has built a cross sectional alliance with many civil society groups, experts and activists.

KVM is working to promote sustainable - ecological agricultural practices, conservation and regeneration of natural water resources and to re-establish the traditional wisdom and practices related to water. It works for awareness on environmental health issues, ecologically, economically and socially sustainable rural development.
