Easiest route=Mount Odem ( _he. הר אודם, "Har Odem", lit. "ruby mountain") is a part of an extinguished volcano in the north of the
Golan Heights . The top of the mountain is 1100 meters above sea level.The mountain is within the
Odem forest reserve , between theDruze villageMas'ade in the north and kibbutzEl Rom in the south. The origin of the name is the red volcano earth, as well the arabic name is Ras Al-Ahmr ( _ar. رأس الأحمر).The mountain had two volcanos, one in the west, and one in the north.
The eastern slope is cultivated with grape vineyards.
