Scottown Fireworks Fire

The Scottown Fireworks Fire occurred on July 3, 1996, in Scottown, Ohio, when Todd Hall, a local resident, lit a box of firecrackers and tossed them into a crowded fireworks store, apparently as a prank. Nine people died in the ensuing fire and panic.
