- Pasir Ris Town Park
[National Parks Board, Singapore] Pasir Ris Town Park is a 14-hectare park where wide-open spaces are favorite places for cultural and social interaction among the residents. It is popular for morning exercises at the foot reflexology and fitness corners. A childrens playground is also available for fun and enjoyment.
The large marine pond is the focus of the park, which is a popular hunt of anglers waiting for their big catch. The park is made a conducive environment for relaxation due to the presence of shelters and mature shady trees around the pond.
An interesting collection of tropical greenery, boulder arrangements and beds of colourful shrubs such as Bougainvilleas and Heliconias marks the landscape of this park, creating a tropical ambience which makes it an ideal place for casual walks or picnics.
Visitors can too enjoy other activities such as participating in concerts and performances, cycling and inline skating.
An outlet called Jaas Recreations providing fishing and prawning activities is located in the park and it has Food & Beverages section like Seafood Restaurant, Halal Food Outlets and drnk stalls for dining purposes.
Getting there
Take a 5-minute walk from Pasir Ris MRT station and Pasir Ris Bus Interchange. Alternatively, you can take Bus services no.89, 359 and 403 at Pasir Ris Central block 531.
