The Beatles andLed Zeppelin and at age 8 decided to become a rock guitarist. In 1970 their family moved toNovosibirsk . Since 1978 he played in a school-band, met future members ofKalinov Most blues-band.In January 1983 Naumov formed "Prokhaodnoy Dvor" band, where he played with Vladimir Zotov (drums) and Oleg Kurokhtin (guit.). Soonly their bootleg's became popular in the USSR, so forced by the
KGB to leave Novosibirsk Medical University for "spreading decadent western values," Naumov sought the safety first inLeningrad and then inMoscow . In 1990 Naumov moved toNew York ,United States .He plays on the single 9-string guitar which was custom-built for him by famous violin maker Sergei Nozdrin.Discography
