Jurong Central Park

[National Parks Board, Singapore] This 8-ha regional park is the first in Singapore having life-sized board-game features including life-sized Snakes and Ladders playground and Ludo Garden. These features were developed based on the traditional indoor children's board-games well-liked by many worldwide. By using the dice tower built in the park, visitors are able to enjoy the games outdoors.

Luxurious plants and trees such as the Calathea lutea and Raphis excelsa are grown at the Snakes and Ladders playground. Visitors will be able to get to experience playing in a jungle setting when the trees matured. The Ludo Garden is where colorful plants grown in, complementing the Ludo game which uses bright colors for different playing teams.

Visitors can be brought closer to nature in the wetland where various types of aquatic plants reside to complement the existing plants. Various birdlife, butterflies, frogs and other insects are attracted to the wetland.

Activities

In the park, a 2km cycling and jogging track is available for recreational joggers and cyclists, a fitness corner for exercising and workouts, an event lawn, benches and shelters for everyone. Other activities such as participating in concerts and performances, family gatherings, inline skating and kite flying are also available.

Getting there

The park is situated across Boon Lay MRT Station. Cross over Boon Lay Way from Boon Lay MRT, Jurong Point and Boon Lay Bud Interchange and you will arrive at the park.
