- James Bryant (Kent cricketer)
James Bryant (died May 1755) and his brother John Bryant (born c.1717; died 23 July 1772), both of Bromley in Kent were noted English cricketers of the mid-Georgian period. Generally rated by the sources to have been fine players, they particularly excelled in single wicket contests. Along with Robert Colchin, they were two of the best players for the Kent county team and were key members of Bromley Cricket Club which had a leading team through the 1740s.
