Certified Public Accountant since 1983 and founded an accounting firm in Western Pennsylvania. Maher has also taught courses at theCambridge University International Symposium of Economic Crime.Maher was elected in 1997 the fill a vacancy in the House due to the death of Representative Al Pettit.
