The UTM Students' Union (UTMSU) represents over 10,000 students at the University of Toronto at Mississauga in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The UTM Students' Union (UTMSU) is a member of the Canadian Federation of Students (Local 109).

History

The union was originally founded as the Students' Administrative Government at Erindale (SAGE). It was later incorporated as the Erindale College Student Union (ECSU). About

The UTM Students’ Union has a mandate to represent, provide social and academic services and in general promote the interests of all full time and part time undergraduate students at UTM.

Administration

The student union is administered by seven executives, along with several full and part time staff members.

On multiple levels, UTMSU is controlled by student volunteers and paid employees. The day-to-day operations are overseen by the elected executive, who also run the various campaigns and provide advocacy for all undergrads and are assisted by the full-time long-term staff.

The elected and appointed Board of Directors holds open meetings on a bi-weekly basis. The general membership (all UTM Students) meets to ratify the finances of the Board of Directors at the yearly AGM, as well as provide ground level participation to the operation of UTMSU.

Elections
