Academy Medical Services is a Columbus, Ohio-based medical staffing and human resource service. Academy Medical Services is an operating division of Acloche LLC, a Ruch Family Corporation, and women-owned staffing service based in Columbus since 1968. Acloche LLC and Academy Medical Services employ over 15,000 annual associates and maintain a client base of over 1,600 accounts. Academy Medical Services works with a variety of healthcare segments including Hospital and Ambulatory Facilities, Private Physician Practices and Universities, Trade Shows, Conventions and Clinics. Academy Medical Services places all types of nurses and medical assistants; allied health professionals including but not limited to phlebotomy, pharmacy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and respiratory therapy; as well as radiology technicians. Academy Medical Services placements include per diem, long term, temporary-to-permanent, travel assignments, as well as direct to hire.

Academy Medical Services has been a Joint Commission Certified health care staffing service since June 2005 and received recertification in 2008.
