- Agustín Hernandez
Agustín Hernandez (born Agustín Hernandez Navarro on
February 29 ,1924 in Mexico City) is a Mexican architect. Son of politician Lamberto Hernandez and Amalia Navarro, he is the brother of choreographerAmalia Hernandez , architect Lamberto Hernandez, Delfina Hernandez and Gabriela Hernandez. He studied at theNational Autonomous University of Mexico , earning his degree in 1954, where he's been giving lectures for some time. The leading exponent of "emotional" architecture, Hernandez has fused elements from Mexico'sPre-columbian past in his contemporary architecture. He has stated to normally start by designing the stairs of the building/house as he feels these are of much importance.Major works
