- Jens Gram Dunker
Jens Gram Dunker (1892 - 1981) is a Norwegian
architect .Born in Christiania, he took architectural education in
Dresden . He first worked underHarald Hals andArnstein Arneberg , but started on his own in 1919. Together withGudolf Blakstad he drew the theatre building for Det Nye Teater, a building which is important in the transition between neo-classicism and functionalism in Norwegian architecture. In 1938 Dunker was hired as a manager at the Royal Palace, retiring in 1962 after a lenghtybuilding restoration which commenced in 1950.
