Lev Vlasenko

Lev Vlasenko

Lev Vlasenko (born in Tbilisi, 1928; died in Brisbane, 1996) was a Georgian pianist. He won the 1956 Ferenc Liszt Competition and was second to Van Cliburn at the I Tchaikovsky Competition two years later.

In 1991 he was decorated a People's Artist of the USSR.
