Rob Rodell is a South African musician based in Johannesburg. Rodell is also a member of the Afro-Pop and World Music group Platoon, with fellow member Namwaaka.

Rodell studied music and marketing at the University of Johannesburg and through the Royal Schools of Music. His first album was as a part of Platoon and was slated for release in 2000. However, the album was a flop and was never released to the public. Platoon's second album attempt saw the group release in 2008.

His first solo album was released in 2008, entitled "Finding My Own Voice".
