Sisters of St. Ann

The Sisters of St. Ann, is a Roman Catholic religious order. Founded in 1850 in Vaudreuil, Quebec. In 1858, the congregation arrived in Victoria, British Columbia, to help, Bishop Modeste Demers, with First Nations people. In 1871 St.Ann's Academy (Victoria) was established. The congregation has taught in various schools and has built schools & foundations, including hospitals, across western Canada, western United States, Alaska, Quebec & Haiti.
