"Vesyolye Ulybki" (Cyrillic: Веселые улыбки; Translated: "Happy Smiles" or "Cheerful Smiles") is t.A.T.u's third studio album. The album's working title was "Upravleniye Obtrosami", in English "Waste Management", but was later scrapped for the present name of the album. The album was set to be released in June, July or August with the title "Waste Management". The album is now set for release for the second half of 2008. September 10, 2008.] It was rumored that the English title for the album was going to stay as "Waste Management", and not as "Happy Smiles". The manager of the band said the title was scrapped in Russian and also in English. An album cover was leaked with the original tracklisting of "Upravleniye Obtrosami", it only had 2 songs that changed.

Singles

*The first single from the album was "Beliy Plaschik", it was released in November 2007. It was released on November 3, 2007 for radio release and the music video was released on November 29, 2007. The uncensored video contains full nudity of Lena and partial nudity from Yulia. The song did not do very well on airplay charts in Russia, yet the video had some Global success. The single had a limited Maxi-Single with the song, remixes and the following single "220". It also had wallpapers, ringtones and a Poster. It also had a coupon for a discount of 50 roubles for the supposed album "Upravleniye Otbrosami", but it expired in June.

*The second single was "220", it was released in April 2008. The music video premiered in YouTube and was released in late March in Russian radio stations. The song title is in reference to the common voltage in Europe, Asia and Australia, 220 Volts. The song was included in Beliy Plaschik's maxi-single, and featuring 3 wallpapers: one of Yulia, one of Lena, and one of 2 red gloves hanging on a wall. The song was leaked one month before it was officially released, it was sang by an unknown male singer, but had the right lyrics and music.

*The third single and perhaps the first to be released worldwide is "You & I". The song was released on September 12th on Love Radio, while the song was released on September 13th on all the other stations. The song is according to their movie, You & I. There will not be a video made for this single.

Album Cover

The album cover from "Upravleniye Obtrosami" was a circle of diamonds with a red "X", the cover was changed because of the title changed, the cover was changed of a chinese astronaut smiling and waving to the people, the cover was released on a PDF press release, on the right-angle of the cover you can see it's a slip-case and the album cover is a dark blue, it may be "Upravleniye Obtrosami" official cover.
