Coriscada is a freguesia (parish) of Portugal, in the municipality of Mêda, in Guarda district. A typical interior village of Portugal, it extends itself over 25.33 km² and has about 246 inhabitants(by 2001). Extremely rich in 17th century patrimony, the village has been quite divulged on the last few years over the discovery of a Roman villa (Vale do Mouro) nearby, currently being studied by a luso-french team (since 2003).
