Born in Montreal in 1942, he is a graduate of the
Harvard Business School 's Advanced Management Program. With his three brothers, Harold Greenberg, Harvey Greenberg, and Sidney Greenberg, he founded Astral Media in 1961. Under his leadership, the company, which began as a specialty photographic business, has evolved into a pure-play media company focusing on television, radio and outdoor advertising. Astral Media now has over 2,800 employees in eight Canadian provinces.
