Bobby Downes is an American producer and the older brother of Kevin Downes.Bobby Downes grew up in Visalia, 3 hours north of Los Angeles. Most of the Christians films he participated in were shot there.Before teaming up with his brother to make "The Moment after" Bobby spent 5 years of full-time volunteer work in 15 nations and all 50 states.

Together with Kevin Downes, Cosimo Michael Occhipinti and David A.R. White he produced "", starring Kevin Downes, Stephen Baldwin, Eric Roberts, David A.R. White and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The movie was released wide in June 2004.

He produced the indie sequel "The Moment After 2: The Awakening" (2006) and is producing "Like Dandelion Dust" (2008) (Mira Sorvino, Barry Pepper) and "A Thousand Tomorrows" both based on novels by NY Times best-selling author Karen Kingsbury.He executive produced Frank Peretti's best selling novel "The Visitation", distributed by 20th Century Fox.

The Downes Brothers are working to bring an entire slate of films into development based on Kingsbury's novels in addition to a television series based on her Baxter family series.

In '06 and '07, Bobby helped bring the USA Today best-selling novel "The Shack" to publication and is working to put the story into development as a feature film.
