Sakis Gouzonis (Greek: Σάκης Γκουζώνης) is an international award-winning Composer, Orchestrator, Arranger, and Producer of Electronic music. He comes from Greece. His music is based on the idea of taking the listener on a journey, giving the listener a whole new experience. In addition, his music defies all borders and speaks to people of all nations and cultures.

Biography

Childhood

He was born on March 16, 1978 to Nick and Frida Gouzonis in Thessaloniki, Greece. Thessaloniki, which is the second largest city in the country, has given Greece some of its greatest artists and thinkers. Two lovely brothers named George and Peter would follow.

In the summer of 1988, Sakis and his family moved to the town of Elassona, which is located at the foot of Mount Olympus, the mythic place of the twelve Olympian gods.

Sakis had always dreamt of having his own musical instrument. In 1990, his dream came true. His parents bought him an electronic keyboard. He was so happy that he started playing music immediately. Sakis had the innate ability to play by ear, to improvise, to arrange music and to create compositions. At that time he wrote his first music composition "Message From Heaven".

At the age of sixteen, his parents bought him his first semi-professional electronic keyboard. He was spending countless hours in his room creating sounds, composing, arranging, and playing music.

From an early age Sakis read and studied the Holy Bible. At the age of seventeen, he decided to get baptized and give his life to Jesus Christ. He began to serve the Lord faithfully in whatever church he was called to, playing praise and worship music, while the Lord worked out in him the plan for his life.

1996: Οι ύμνοι που αγαπήθηκαν Sakis releases internationally his first compilation of twelve well-known old and contemporary Christian hymns that he had arranged and produced.

1998: Οι ύμνοι που αγαπήθηκαν Νο2 Sakis releases internationally his second compilation of ten well-known old and contemporary Christian hymns that he had arranged and produced.

Participation in music projects

2000: Participation as a keyboard player in the album Μπρος στο σταυρό Σου. Sakis is asked to play keyboards in a band that is backing up Greek Christian Singer Costas Fragoraptis in Thessaloniki. They release the album "Μπρος στο σταυρό Σου", which includes 13 songs.

2001: Participation as a keyboard player in the album Ζω τα λόγια εκείνα, Χριστέ μου. Sakis is asked for one more time to play keyboards in the band that is backing up Greek Christian Singer Costas Fragoraptis. They release the album "Ζω τα λόγια εκείνα, Χριστέ μου", which includes 10 songs.

Personal Discography

2008: First Contact On August 8, 2008, Sakis releases his long-awaited first personal album "First Contact" as an independent music production of electronic instrumental music. The album includes 10 compositions, while two of them are the international award-winning compositions "Anthem Of Love" and "Give Me A Chance".
