John Bentley (cricketer)

John Bentley (born 1 March 1787 at Middleton, Dorset; died 26 March 1859 at Westminster) was an English professional cricketer. He was the brother of Henry Bentley.

Career

Bentley was mainly associated with Middlesex and he made 13 known appearances in first-class matches from 1807 to 1817 Arthur Haygarth, "Scores & Biographies", Volume 1 (1744-1826), Lillywhite, 1862] .
