CrimsonCup is a coffee roaster, supplier and support for independent coffeehouses in over 21 states. Founded in 1991 by Greg Ubert (CEO), the company supplies coffee and barista training to over 80 independently owned coffee shops across the United States. Based in Columbus, Ohio, CrimsonCup’s signature coffee--Armando's Blend--is a blend of the top five percent of Arabica, or specialty coffee beans originating in places stretching from Indonesia to Central America. Armando's Blend is the standard for CrimsonCup’s espresso based drinks and is it’s primary drip coffee. CrimsonCup also supplies coffees ranging from flavored to Fair Trade Organic to local grocers and food services.

Coffee and Community

While instructing independent consumers how to be efficient and successful, the company's executives implemented the Coffee and Community concept. This would provide for independent coffee houses to network with each other and share ideas and strategies without becoming a coffee franchise of CrimsonCup.
