The National Electronic Sectional Appendix is an online alternative to a piece of railway document produced in an ordered binder with loose leaf inserts. It has been compiled by Network Rail which gives a very detailed description of all railway lines owned by Network Rail which is not limited to line side equipment, access points and diagrams of all running lines
Hard copy SAs are still being published and they can now be bought on-line, direct from Willsons Printers of Newark. You can also buy the various bits of the Rule Book in printed form from these good people, and indeed more esoteric items such as the AC Electrified Lines Instructions.
