F.C. Hudson is an American men's amateur soccer club based in
Hudson, Massachusetts the club currently plays in the second division of the Massachusetts State Soccer League, the top level of amateur soccer in the state ofMassachusetts . The MSSL seasons runs from April to November with a one month summer break in July. The club was founded in 2007, a few years after the folding of its parent club Hudson Benfica. F.C. Hudson plays its home matches at the Hudson Portuguese Club and the majority of its players are first generation Americans of Portuguese descent. While most other players were born in eitherPortugal orBrazil and the team makes up part of the town's deep and richLuso-American heritage.The current squad is coached by Portuguese born Jose Manuel Silva.Colors and crest
The club plays its matches either white or red jerseys with black shorts and black socks. The club crest is a shield similar to Spanish football giants
FC Barcelona with the top half of the shield being split down the middle with thePortugal National Football Team crest on a half red and half black background underneath a horizontal gold stripe goes across the middle of the shield bearing the name F.C. Hudson across it and underneath the bottom half of the crest has four vertical red stripes on a white background with a soccer ball in the center of the vertical stripes.Roster
